Dashboard Inventory - Remember last selection

I spoke to a customer today who operates solely in tonnes, but the dashboard inventory summary unit measurement defaults to bushels, forcing the customer to change this every time he opens the dashboard. Could we save the selection option and have it load the last used unit measurement value automatically?
